Southeastern Printing Awarded Federal Grant for Training and Energy Improvements

“The Biden-Harris Administration is powering a clean energy transition, delivering new manufacturing opportunities throughout the nation,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm. “U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is ensuring American leadership in advanced manufacturing by training the next generation of clean energy workers and mitigating upfront costs for small-and-medium sized manufacturers to increase their energy efficiency.”

Southeastern Printing has been selected as one of 47 small- and medium-sized manufacturers to receive funding as part of the ITAC Industrial Training and Assessment Centers (ITAC) Implementation Grants program, under the Biden-Harris Administration’s $9 million initiative to improve energy efficiency and productivity. The grant will support projects such as installing energy-saving technologies and enhancing workforce training.

The program aims to reduce emissions and lower energy costs while boosting competitiveness for mid-sized businesses like Southeastern Printing.
